En el imperio de los sentidos
video installation and book presentation
Chinolibros offsite installation with Proyectos Multiproposito
2025

A site-specific video projection in conjunction with the presentation of an artist book and prints. The video is projected on to a truck parked outside of the exhibition space.

The installation, “En el imperio de los sentidos” takes its name from Nagisa Ōshima's 1976 film, which was censored in Japan, the United States and other countries.

The moving image collage is compilation of several works of videos and films, including a 16mm reprinted scene from Ōshima's film transferred to digital.
