language and representation is a video piece where the artist moves naked while filming herself in the reflection of a mirror covered with red sheer fabric.
The video is then overlaid with a series of different songs to show how the body movements communicate a different narrative when presented with different language or songs.
For the installation, the artist emptied her bedroom and studio to recreate the scene where the original video piece was made, installing the same mirror and playing the video on a tv monitor to be watched from her bed.
